This course introduces students to the foundational concepts of Nyaya philosophy, exploring the critical elements of logic, epistemology, and reasoning in Indian philosophical traditions. Across two parts, the course will cover the first 61 sutras of Nyaya Darshana, divided into two sections for thorough exploration and clarity. With access to original texts in both Devanagari and Roman scripts, students will develop a deeper understanding of Nyaya sutras and refine their analytical skills. No prior knowledge of Sanskrit or Nyaya is needed, as this course provides a gentle yet structured introduction.
